  • What is premature ejaculation?

Simply put, an ejaculation can be considered if it occurs before each party participating in the sexual encounter is satisfied. In other words, if a man ejaculates before he feels that he or his partner has climaxed, then he can say that he experienced a premature ejaculation.

  • When can I say that I have a problem?

Let’s get one thing straight: there are many premature ejaculation causes, which means that it is absolutely normal for a man to ejaculate earlier than expected a few times. One can say that he has a serious premature ejaculation, if he ejaculates prematurely every time or most of the times he has sex.

  • What causes premature ejaculation?

Believe it or not, premature ejaculation is mostly caused by psychological factors such as stress, performance anxiety and even depression. It can also be caused by physiological factors such as prostate infections, however when it comes to physical PE causes, the most common one is having weak pelvic floor muscles.

  • Weak pelvic floor muscles? What is that?

The pelvic floor muscles are a group of muscles that effectively control ejaculation and erections. Simply put, the stronger those muscles are, the stronger a man’s erection will be and the more control he will have over when he ejaculates. In other words, having weak pelvic floor muscles is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed if one would like to last longer in bed.

How do you strengthen your Pelvic muscles?

Those muscles work exactly the same way as any other muscle in your body, which means that they can become stronger through exercise. There are some exercises that have been specifically designed to exercises and strengthen those muscles: they are called Kegel Exercises.

In fact, the most effective Kegel exercise is extremely simple and you can do it just after you read this paragraph! Here’s what you need to do:

1. Locate your pelvic muscles: OK, this might sound hard, but it is actually extremely easy: the next time you urinate, simply try to stop the stream of urine. Do you feel something becoming tight? Congratulations, you just located your pelvic muscle!

2. Tighten your pelvic muscle: Now that you have found the pelvic muscles, all you need to do is tightening them and keeping them tight for a few seconds every day. Simply tighten the muscle for 20 or 30 seconds and release. Do this for a period of 20 minutes to half an hour every day for a few weeks and you will definitely see an improvement in your sexual stamina and sex life in general.

This is just the simplest Kegel exercises, there are many more and they are just as effective, however I can’t fit them in this article.
